“Disappearing: Hommage à Magritte” | 2015-2019

I observe and record the process of disappearing of my paintings with a landscape in the background. I call it poetry of disappearing. I find it as a kind of metaphor of our presence on the earth, sharing space, passing away, giving place to others, in symbiosis with the cycles of nature and the universe. It also shows the extraordinary vitality and strength of nature, and more broadly of the Cosmos, and how impermanent we are and our action is fleeting, in the face of its power.
