02/10/2026

On 1 October 2026, the post-conference publication Contemporary Art in Royal Residences and Museums of Historic Art was presented at Potocki Palace in Kraków as part of the Wawel Book Salon.

The event was hosted by journalist Małgorzata Bugaj, in conversation with the publication’s editor, Bogumiła Wiśniewska. I was invited to join the discussion, which focused on the publication and the presence of contemporary art in historic residences.

On 17–18 October 2025, the academic conference Contemporary Art in Royal Residences and Museums of Historic Art, organised by Wawel Royal Castle, took place in Kraków. During the conference, I had the pleasure of presenting my doctoral project The Birth of Colours and my kinetic installation Cosmos, exploring the role of contemporary art within the context of royal palace residences.

My presentation was entitled “The Grotto as an Archive of the Memory of Origins – Cosmology, Nature and Contemporary Art through the Lens of My Artistic Projects at the Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów and the Branicki White Palace, Museum of the Earth, Polish Academy of Sciences, in Warsaw.”

I am also the author of one of the chapters in the publication, which is based on my conference presentation.
